BMS Albania

About us

Annie and Dan lead ‘Tek Ura’ (‘at the bridge’) a BMS supported Albanian charity working with some of the poorest and most marginalised people in Europe. Their vison is to provide a place for local people to meet and experience God and to empower them to help one another. Since 2016 they have established an inclusive community centre, a service provider of health, education and welfare support and a Christian faith community made up of a network of groups.

Who are we?

Annie and Dan have been serving with BMS in Tirana, Albania since 2014. Dan is a Baptist Minister, who planted and leads a growing cell church in the community. Annie is a physiotherapist who founded a BMS supported physio rehab clinic in the Tek Ura Centre in 2016.

How is TBC supporting us?

  • Ongoing financial support via BMS
  • Prayer

  • The challenges of remaining in contact as a community, when so few people have access to digital devices
  • Pray for discernment of how God would like the Team to set priorities and the ability to focus on them
  • Pray that the members of the community might know freedom from all that burdens – past mistakes, fears, destructive habits, hurts other people have inflicted, and more
  • Pray for relationships with other churches both locally and globally
  • Pray that the community might have peace in all situations, no matter what the circumstances
