Communion

And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

1 Corinthians 11:24-25

For over 2000 years Christians have shared bread and wine (or grape juice) together to remember why Jesus died and rose again. We remember the forgiveness and peace with God that Jesus offers us.

Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions we have had to be inventive with how we share communion.  We continue to celebrate in our Sunday online services, and invite you to have your own food and drink ready for those services.  For those meeting in the building we ask that you bring your own food and drink with you.
