Sundays

“On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.”
Acts 20:7

Whether you’ve never been inside a church before, or have been for as long as you can remember, you are very welcome. Come as you are: dress down or dress up – whatever you feel comfortable and relaxed in and helps you think about God. Our services are informal and our teaching and prayers are conversational. At the end of our services, people are available to pray with you about life’s situations, or in response to the message.

Regular activities

Sunday mornings

Every Sunday

10 – 11.15am
@ Tonbridge Baptist Church

Open to all

Sunday mornings run from 10am until around 11:15am. Children’s, youth and additional needs groups run alongside these services. Five times a year, our morning services are ‘All Age’ and led by the youth and children’s team; the children also join us for 15 minutes at the start of some other services.

Sunday evenings

Every Sunday

Open to all

Sunday evenings we meet from 6:30pm until around 7:45pm. Our evening services are relaxed, and with plenty of time for sung worship, and a message. Twice a month we have “break-out” groups after the message – you can go home, stay and sing, or join a discussion group for adults or for young people.

Five times a year we ‘Pray and Play’ in our evening service, expressing our prayers in various ways (football, world mission, prayer walks, creativity, prophetic workshops, table tennis, sung worship, seeing the treasures around us and praying for situations on our daily lives). We spend 30- 35 minutes in singing and hear the message together then split into groups.

Communion and Taste & See

We share communion twice a month – once in the morning and once in the evening. Some of these services are ‘Taste & See’ when we spend the whole service looking more deeply at communion and what Jesus did for us on the cross.

TBC is a busy community-engaged church with something going on most of the time. Find out a bit more about things you can join in on with us during the week on our TN10 Community page and also read about the Special Celebrations that we share together throughout the year.
