Over 350 people give their time to make the weekday activities and Sunday programme of TBC happen. Whether you’re an expert washer-upper, love to make people feel at home, are happy tinkering with AV or have a passion for kids ministry we’d love to help you find your place in the team.

Youth and Kids
Anchor Girls Helper
Our lovely Anchor Girls section for 5-8yr olds needs a helper to join the team! The role will include assisting in a variety of games and activities.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Fridays 4:30-6:30pm weekly or fortnightly
Club Sunday helper
Club Sunday needs a leader to join our lovely team working with children aged 5-11yrs.
The role includes helping with craft, games and activities, and chatting with the children ensuring that they feel welcome and happy.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Sunday mornings, 9.30-11.30, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Little Stars refreshment team
Little Stars is our Monday morning group for pre schoolers and their parents and carers. We are in need of additional team members to make tea and coffee, and to serve refreshments.
Monday mornings in term time 9.15-11.15am

Creative
Social media ambassadors
This role involves creating graphics, taking photos or finding and recording stories.
Could be ideal for a Duke of Edinburgh student volunteering, or for someone who is enthusiastic about social media.

Creative team
Are you creative or enjoy art and design? Become part of a wider team, using various skills and abilities to work on creative content for services and seasonal displays.

Services
Mid-week Communion helper
We are looking for someone to help set up, put out chairs, serve tea and coffee, and clear up
Wednesdays once a month 10am-12pm
Live Stream Hosts
We would like to help create a community for those watching services on live-stream on a Sunday morning. The live stream host would host and moderate a new chat feature we would like to launch this year.
Sunday mornings 9:50-11.15am, online.
Midweek technician
This essential role involves providing basic sound sound and live stream technician cover to support funerals and so we can accept other midweek bookings. Full training will be given to operate a basic set up, no prior experience needed.
As and when required (an hour or two once or twice a month)
Morning Communion Server
We would love more people to volunteer to distribute bread and wine to the congregation during morning communion services.
First Sunday of every other month
Evening Communion Set-up
We need a couple more people to set-up before, and clear away after communion services. This involves arriving approx. 30-40 minutes before the service, preparing the bread & wine then washing up afterwards.
Sunday evenings every two months at evening services.
Host team
This role involves welcoming people to TBC at our Sunday morning or evening services, directing children and young people to their groups, engaging with newcomers and answering questions.
Sundays 9:30-11:30am, or 6-8pm once or twice a month.

Pastoral
Cluster Lunch Helper
Volunteers required to set tables, serve food and clear up for our small group cluster meetings.
Sundays once every 8 weeks 9.30am -2pm before and after morning service.

Our popular Lunch Club need some more volunteers to help prepare food, lay tables and clear up after lunch.
