Youth
“You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.”
Ecclesiastes 11:9
TBC offers a generous welcome to the youth of Tonbridge. Whatever their background, they’ll find a safe place to come and hang out with each other, and to belong. Our main focus is on relationships; building strong and lasting friendships with each other and with Jesus. We want to share life and laughter together, be a place where people can feel free to be themselves and awaken the God-given potential in each one of their lives and situations.
Regular activities
Basecamp
Every Sunday at TBC

Year 7 – 9
Sunday mornings for youth are centred around ‘Basecamp’ where young people can join in the conversation about God and life including teaching, discussion, games and food! For older youth there are opportunities to develop in leadership through helping with children’s groups, serving in main services. About once a term we join the morning service for our FAB (Families and Brigades) Service.
We also have ‘Aslan’, a Sunday morning group for children and young people with special educational needs. For more information, please have a look at our Additional Needs page.

Mentoring
Mentoring is an exciting, faith-building journey with input from an older Christian to help you. It is a chance to be open about your life and get the support of someone who really wants to help and support you and see you become all that God has made you to be.
